How to search for, renew or reserve materials

You can search for materials through the online public access catalog:

Please note that the NEW online catalog will give results for materials available on all electronic databases, as well as all physical copies.

  • You can place a hold on an item you’d like to borrow in several ways:
    • by visiting us in person,
    • through our online catalog
    • or by calling us 660-826-1314
    • You’ll need your library card number to place a hold
  • When placing your hold, whether online or in person, you can choose to pick them up at our Sedalia location. Please come to the circulation desk in the main lobby.
  • Items will automatically renew 1 time (not DVD’s or STEM kits).
  • You can also do so from our online catalog or give us a call.
  • Through our online catalog, you can login to your account and see all items checked out, when they are due, any holds you have placed, and more!
  • You can also call us or look at your checkout receipt to see the due date.
  • Lost or damaged items will be billed to the account they are checked out to. Patrons may pay their bill with cash or check. We do not accept cards for payment currently.
  • Physical materials have a 3-week checkout period, with 1 renewal. Maximum of 10 items per card.
  • DVD’s have a 2-week checkout period, no renewals. Maximum of 5 DVD’s per card.
  • STEM kits have a 2-week checkout period, no renewals. Maximum of 1 kit per card.
